The geometry of the pop-up is presented and a possible teaching program for pop-ups is illustrated. After having explored a pop-up cube, pupils learn how to fold and to cut papers, analyze the relationship between the pop-up cube and a ‘true’ cube, plan and realize pop-up objects (cubes, cuboids, particular figures); elder pulis can find a very stimulating investigation in the pop-up world in which they find symmetries, angles, bisectors.
